We invite all Ladies of our Parish to join the Catholic Women’s League of Canada, where they will experience a feeling of friendship, support, sharing and belonging.
We are Ladies of all ages, working for the betterment of self, Church, community and the world. Are you called to advocate for human rights and social justice? Add your voice to a national sisterhood of Catholic Women who promote awareness and respond to political and social issues that affect all Canadians.
You can offer welcome and comfort to the vulnerable, the needy and the marginalized.
You can take an active role in the creation of resolutions that are annually presented to the Canadian Government on issues that impact families and communities at home and abroad.
Through the CWL, you will become part of the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations, representing Catholic Women and the Church around the globe. CWL outreach supports may initiatives in developing countries.
Through your efforts, prayerful service, and sharing of your gifts and talents, you can be Blessed with grace-filled moments. As is written in the prayer of St. Francis, “for it is in giving that we receive.”
It’s not all work and no play, as we have fun times within our membership, and we grow closer to God and one another.
Please consider joining us, you’d be more than welcome!
When visiting Campbell River, CWL members from other Parishes are cordially invited to attend our meetings.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm, St. Patrick’s Church, Small Hall.
We have July and August off for good behavior!
